History:

It is assumed that strip poker started in New Orleans around the same time when the real poker game started in the 19th century which was played in brothels. However, strip poker was started as a prank among the boys and in the late 1930s the latest co-ed version was called “mixed strip poker” in England to differentiate it from the all male, non sexual game.

The name of the author of first strip poker computer game is Designer Dieter Eckhardt who was a German. He wrote the game in the late 1970s using the computers of an astronomical observatory near Dusseldorf. Strip poker computer games were produced from the earliest stages of video game production and it continued to be released in a huge extent from pornospecialist distributors.

The Florida computer game company Artworx first produced a Strip Poker game for the Apple II computer in the year 1982. Since then this game has been ported to many other computers and it is available today also.
